Ughhhh
The new ad by Vote Yes for Wisconsin. It's despicable. Like all things Religious Right, it's also ridiculously funny. Moral of the ad: Don't do anything resembling social development and progress, because it might confuse children for a little bit.
This ad is quite frankly the most hilarious and at the same time disgusting thing I've seen in a long time. The whole idea of social progress is that each new generation will hopefully learn from the experiences (and mistakes) of the past. I suppose if they do pass this amendment, however, they should also write an amendment to ban history from being taught in our schools. Then our kids won't ever have to be confused or feel tempted to reform our society if they are ignorant of our own history of social reform. I am sure that would be a conservative’s dream.
